Today we did user-testing for our app. I explained my concept to Sarah (who had the same user group I do)and gave her an objective: Find your way to the Gallipoli exhibit. Sarah seemed to have a hard time navigating around and I could see that in her delayed reactions. Despite the fact that I explained the Te papa ring and kiosk concept.
After which the tutor gave me feedback and suggested that I do a user-flow chart. This really helped me visualise the path I wanted the user to take. After I made the flow chart I drew some paper screens to get a better feel of how screens would go after another without committing to making actual screens in Photoshop.
