Rationale
The user group that I am targeting but not exclusive to are the tourists. My design approach was to create an interactive experience that would be unique to Te papa. My concept included the Te Papa ring. It would include an RFID tag and would be made of wood, users would have an option to either return the ring to a staff member or take it home with them as a souvenir as RFID is cheap technology. The Te Papa ring would work with an exhibit information screen that would act as a RFID reader that communicates with the users phone. I wanted an organic, intimate and New Zealand feel for my concept as I felt that it is what makes Te Papa's point of difference when compared to other museums.

Developments
I took the feedback from the previous lesson to resolve some isssues. One being, that the previous app was too "sudden" and that people needed something more transitional to ease people into the app otherwise it would become confusing to navigate around. I decided to include a one-time tutorial page that users could choose to either look at or skip if they're feeling confident enough.
In one of the pages I highlighted that if you were not close enough to the RFID reader for an exhibit that the "collect" button would be unclickable.
I have made sure that all the screens achieve visual cohesion with the Te papa "look and feel". Additionally I created two posters to go along with my presentation for te papa in week 7.

Week 5
Today we did user-testing for our app. I explained my concept to Sarah (who had the same user group I do)and gave her an objective: Find your way to the Gallipoli exhibit. Sarah seemed to have a hard time navigating around and I could see that in her delayed reactions. Despite the fact that I explained the Te papa ring and kiosk concept.
After which the tutor gave me feedback and suggested that I do a user-flow chart. This really helped me visualise the path I wanted the user to take. After I made the flow chart I drew some paper screens to get a better feel of how screens would go after another without committing to making actual screens in Photoshop.

Week 4
We were presenting our moodboards in class and some of the comments I had about mine were that it didn't have enough of a Te Papa feel to it, or that I didnt have any visual style going on at th e moment.
I also had an issue about making the app more innovative. I was interested in the idea of using an accessory of some sort that the user could interact with while they were in te papa. It needed to be light weight and would have either an NFC tag or RFID tag.
